16th July 2016 - Stoppage win over Timo Laine

Devon born, Midlander Tommy Langford has had a steady rise in the pro ranks.

Unbeaten in his first 14 professional fights, the 26 year old will be looking to continue his perfect record into 2016.

Having stepped up to participate in three scheduled ten rounders in 2015, only one has gone the distance. The natural progression for Langford will be to get valuable championship rounds in the bank.

Early victories over the durable Dan Blackwell and Nick Jenman during the early part of 2014 have been decent learning fights for the 6 foot Middleweight.

Fighting on the Jamie Conlan undercard in Dublin back in July 2015 earned Langford his first professional title.

Mexican Julio Cesar Avalos was put away in the fourth round to collect the vacant WBO Intercontinental strap.

The adopted Brummie made it a hattrick of wins in 2015 when he outclassed Christian Fabian Rios in October 2015 to defend his WBO Intercontinental title.

Langford finished 2015 with a bang, stopping Robert Swierzbinski to retain his title on December 19's big show in Manchester.

It was a promising start to 2016 after a hard fought points win over Lewis Taylor on March 12 to defend his WBO I/C strap and pick up the vacant Commonwealth Middleweight Title.

Langford continued his unbeaten rise with a stoppage victory over Timo Laine on our big Cardiff card in July 2016.
